Hello!

How are you? Are you still there? I hope you are because today I have something new for you.
Today I'm going to describe a country which is situated next to Spain... and by The Atlantic Ocean... I think you know it yet. Of course, I'm writing about Portugal!

Have you ever been there? I haven't been there yet but I'm going to go there in the future, maybe next year.
That hot climate attracks... There is more than 300 sunny days in one year!

The capital city of Portugal is Lisbon, a pearl of Atlantic. It is one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe. There is a quarter "Belem" where Vasco da Gama started his journey. You can visit Lisbon travelling by a yellow tram which became a symbol. It drives you to the most popular monuments and places in Lisbon.

Near to the capital city of Portugal you can find many resorts, just like Costa da Caparica where is an elegant and wide beach, as well Praia do Tamariz, Carcavelos, Cascais (especially for surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing lovers), Praia do Sul, Costa de Prata or Costa Verde (one of the wildest coasts) and many others.

                                          Costa da Caparica

                                          Cascais

30 km from Lisbon is Sintra - placed on wooded hills - very pictureque village full of castles and palaces. The biggest attraction is Palacio Nacional da Pena which is a mixture of styles and colours. Also, you can see Palacio da Vila (be careful because there you can get lost very quickly!) or Quinta da Regaleira consisted of a palace, chapel, tunnels, parks, fountains and aquariums. You can find Sinstra on UNESCO World Heritage List.

                                          Palacio Nacional da Pena

That's all for today but I will continue my post about Portugal soon.

See you!

Norway - part 2

Hello everyone!

Today I'll finish my post about Norway. Let's go!

The UNESCO Naeroyfjord
It's the most beautiful and wildest arm of the Sognefjord which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This fiord is 17 km long and only 250 m wide. You can find there waterfalls, snow-topped mountains, idyllic atmosphere.

Lysefjord
This fiord is 40 km long. There you can see the fascinating mountains. This fiord is imposing, a boat trip could be the best idea in your life. Those views are breathtaking. What is special, Lusefjord is straight.

Oslo
It's a metropolis in the middle of the forest over the fiord (Oslofjord). Oslo is a capital city of Norway and also the biggest city in all country. Summer in Oslo is very warm and winter is very frosty and then it is a paradise skiers. Oslofjord counts more less 40 islands. A half of this city is green because of many parks and forests. I think I don't have to add anything else.

Norway, for me, is a paradise. I wish I'll go there one day.
You'll love it too.

Geirangerfjord
Turquoise Geirangerfjord with majestic, snow-covered mountains' peaks, amazing waterfalls and vegetation. Everyone will love this place, these admirable views are breathtaking! And what is the most important - everything was created by nature. It's a paradise for a nature-lovers. We can walk in the mountains, stroll or sail by kayak.

Sognefjord
Sognefjord is the longest fiord in Norway and one of the longest in the world. His depth counts 1300 metres and the highest mountains counts 1700 metres. There is many green pastures, fresh air and good climate.

Hardangerfjord
It's a glacier with waterfalls and special rocks. It is an amazing place to take photos. It is the longest fiord in Norway after Sognefjord and fourth in the world. There is a lot of tourist's routs, hotels and campings where you can stay at night.

Barcelona - part 2

Hi!

I'm back. Today I'll finish my publication about Barcelona which I've started last time. So, let's go!

Park Guell
There are many parks in Barcelona but this one is special - it is a next Gaudi's child. This park is a town-garden inspired by english gardens. You can find there palm trees, varied flowers and marvellous architecture, for example, pavilion guarded by dragon and salamander, mosaics or mythical characters. Casa-Museu Gaudi - it's an old architect's house. Now there is a museum dedicated his remembrance. A building is amazing and colorfully.

La Rambla
It is the most famous street in Barcelona which never sleep! There you can see many mimes, melodists, women with flowers or stalls with souvenirs.

Barri Gotic (Old market square)
Full of charm buildings, flowers, streets, coffee aroma - that all you can find on Barri Gotic. It's the oldest quarter of old market square with cathedral, basilica and palace. You can see also Picasso's museum. It's a great place for a walk with family,  spend a good time with them and relax. On old market square you can also eat well in some restaurant.

In Barcelona we can find many other attractions and I'm not able to describe every place. I hope you like this city too. I would like to visit this place so much!

See you next time.

Hi!

Today I want to write about another place which I would like to visit a lot! I mean Spain, particularly Barcelona. I didn't visit this city but I know I'd love this place. There you can find, for example, Gaudi's houses or Sagrada Familia, modernism or contemporary architecture. I would like to write about the most popular places in Barcelona which you cannot avoid when you are on a trip.

Sagrada Familia - number one in Barcelona
It is a temple which is a symbol of this city. Sagrada Familia is ona of the most popular building in the world! The highest tower measures 115m and it is going to be higher because of that this temple is still built. Very characteristic are very rich decorations. Sagrada Familia is visible almost in all city from almost every place!

Font Magica
It is a place where you can see an amazing spectacle. In leading roles you can see water and lights and popular music. It's a fountain's show which you can't skip! The sewuences are directed and water "dance", lights are changing all the time harmonizing with music. It gives an amazing effect!

I'll finish my post next time. I'll write about more wonderful places in Barcelona. You can't miss it!

Provence

Hello everybody :)

I would like to present you another place worth to see. I'm still staying in France but now it's time for Provence! It is such a beautiful region in southern France.

Provence - beautiful landscapes, warm climate and amazing monuments. There you can see a lot of flowers, mainly a lavender, vineyards, castles, herbs. It could be a fascinating travel you won't forget!

Provence is famous for many charmy villages and small towns walled by fields of lavender. It is an amazing land with many interesting and unforgettable corners and views as you can see on the pictures.

This region is very popular, everywhere we can meet there many tourists. The most popular city is Saint-Rémy - the perfect Provençal village - ancient but with a little bit of modernity. Right there we can find many cheerful corners, for example sandstone houses, winding streets or many other beautiful objects.  It is a place full of asylum where even Van Gogh had created his paintings.

For a chocolate lovers the best is Joël Durand Chocolatier. It is a chocolate store in Saint-Rémy where you can try, for example, a ganache with jasmine tea.  The supplements to chocolate, for example, cofee or honey are original and the one of its kind.

In Provence we can find many other places. I would like to recommend this place because I think it is a travel full of amazing views where you can see many interesting monuments.

Hope you'll like this place!
See you next time,
J.
