Different direction

Hello!

Lately I've realised that I'm writing a lot about Europe. I thought - it's time to change it. Of course, not forever, but now it's time to "go" somewhere else :) And I have a new idea - I'll write about America! South and North America are both beautiful and noteworthy. Especially, I would like to see California, but it's not the only one state which I'm going to describe. :) There's a lot of places which I would like to post here, particularly in North America. When it comes to South America, I've already written about Brazil. I think I've described all places in Europe which I like the most,I know that there is many other amazing countries, but I'm not able to describe every charming place. That's because the world is full of beauty, there are always some places to discover and explore. When I'm writing about different countries, it's also a motivation for me to learn more about the world, to find more amazing cities, mountains or bays and many, many others. I'm very happy about that I've chosen writing about travelling because it's a never-ending topic.
I hope it's also interesting for you, just a little bit :)
So, next time we're starting America's tour!

See you!

Croatia - part 3

Hello everyone!

What's up? Hope you're fine. Today I'll finish a Croatia's description. Hope it's interesting for you :) So, let's go!

Pula

We're back to Istria - on the South side. It's the biggest city on this island, a perfect place for mediaval Old Town lovers. in Pula you can see the most spectacular Roman monuments. Formerly, it was one of the most important metropolis by the Adriatic.
The amphitheatre has survived and today it's a third the best extant monument of its type. A huge building made of marble makes an enormous impression on tourists.

Split

Split is the second biggest city in Croatia. The biggest attraction in Split are ruins of a gigantic imperial palace. The decond noteworthy monument is a characteristic cathedral guerded by sphinx and lions.

Mljet

Mljet is an island situated between Dubrovnik and Korcula. It's one of the most green islands by the Adriatic. This island was announced a National Park.

Paklenica National Park

For most of tourists Croatia - it's just a sea and Dubrovnik. It's also a country with amazing mountains, maybe not very high, but very picturesque. Paklenica with two krast canyons is one of the best places like this which you can see in Croatia.
Velka Paklenica is 14km long and next is a shorter one - Mala Paklenica.
In this National Park we won't find a crowd of tourists. I think it's an advantage of this place, thanks to that it's more unique and worth to see.

Makarska

In the end, Makarska - situated by the sea. There is no Roman or medieval monuments, there is no Old Town. There is so much more tourists who just want to spend time at the beach and sunbathe.
There is the sea and the mountains (called Biokovo) in one place. A perfect place to sit under palm trees or take a walk and relax.

That's all about Croatia. I hope it will be interesting for you. Now I have to think about another place.

See you next time!

Croatia - part 2

Hi!

How are you? Today I'm coming back to my Croatia's description. So, let's cut to the chase!

Rovinj

Rovinj is a "Croatia's ruby", as some people say. We can see it especially bird's eye view - red tiles or Old Town. Rovinj is similar to famous Saint Tropez in some tourists' opinions. Undoubtedly, it's the most beautiful city on Istria's penisula, where's a lot of picturesque corners, especially looking at turquoise sea. In addition, Rovinj is a place full of interesting history. This city has an amazing climate and it's not a coincidence that it's a favourite artists' place.

Korcula

We can hear that Korcula is an island for those people who love adventures, as well wild beaches, delicious wines and bath in the sea. When it somec to beaches, we can meet with gravel instead of sand, what is not very pleasant for our skin. But we can stare at clean, amazingly turquoise and warm sea, and , of course, go swimming! :)
When it comes to adventure lovers, one thing is very interestung for them in Korcula - that's a place where Marco Polo was born.
For wine lovers, a lot of sophisticated wines are produced in Korcula. They have an excellent taste and beautiful colour.
For those tourists who love sighseeing there's also a lot to see :) A lot of monuments make this place a "small Dubrovnik".
I think it's a great place for everyone because of its variety, everyone will find something for himself! :)

That's all for now. I'll finish Croatia's decription soon.

See you!

Croatia

Hello everybody!

What's up? Hope you're fine.
This time I've prepared a description of a new country - Croatia! Sunny and beautiful place with a rocky coast with a thousand islands make it a sailor's paradise.

Dubrovnik

When you are in Croatia, you can't miss that place! The best view over Dubrovnik is from a Srd hill - it'll stuck in your mind, without any doubt. Some people think that it's the most wonderful view all over the world. The town is full of antiques temples and tenements, which are on UNESCO's World Heritage  List. The most impressive are defensive walls. Nowadays, Dubrovnik is a prominent symbol of Croatia.

Plitvice Lakes

The most characteristic "croissant" in Croatia, on the map, of course :) There's a National Park, 16 karst lakes connected with 90 waterfalls with heavenly turquoise water. In addition, there are picturesque mixted forests, especially breath-taking in autumn. I think it sounds magical. :)

Hvar Island

One of the most beautiful islands, the best one in Croatia and one of the best all over the world. A vivid plant life, vineyards, olive trees and a smell of lavender. There are some interesting towns with antiques churches and deleloped nightlife. Sounds like a real paradise!

That's all for today. To be continued.

See you!

Cyprus - part 3

Hello everybody!

How are you?
Today I'll finish my description of Cyprus. I fell in love with this place and I can't wait to see Cyprus in september!

Petra Tou Romiou

It's the region of Pafos whuch I've described last time. So beautiful scenery about this place was an inspiration for artists. There is a turquoise water and rocks off the coast. A famous attraction for tourists is Aphrodite's Rock, Greek goddess of love, known from Greek mythology.

Polis Beach

It's a calmer beach than the majority of them and so much less busy. It's a good place for water sports or walks at sunset time.

Limassol

It's a city on the southern coast of Cyprus. Limassol is also the second largest urban area in Cyprus. This city has many attractions for tourists, just like castles, museums, sculptures or gardens.
The medieval castle who was built by Byzantines was used as a prison in the past. Nowadays, it is a medieval museum with some exhibits, just like painting, cannons, statues or wood carvings.
There is also The Archeological Museum with a collection of antiquities. We can find there also coins, gold jewellery, sculptures, vases and many others.
Public Garden, which on the coastal road, has a lot of vegetation, just like cypresses, pine or eucalyptus trees. There is also a zoo with deers, lions, tigers, pelicans or birds. We can see also a natural history museum.
Limassol is famous of its festivals, for example Carnival or Wine Festival.

Medieval Castle

That's all about Cyprus from me. Hope it'll be interesting for you. :)

See you!

Today's second part of my description of Cyprus. I chose this place because I'm going to go there in september and I'm so excited about that. So, let's explore the world! :)

One of the most beautiful. Crystal clean water, perfect fot diving lovers, as well families with children. Near to this beach there is an island with a stony coast, in contrast to the beach. It's near to the place called Protaras. Tourism is very well-developed, it's also a great place for water sports lovers.

Protaras

Governor's Beach

Governor's Beach is situated between Limassol and Larnaca. This place is famous of wonderful landscapes. There we can meet different animals on the beach. Tourism is well-developed, there are many restaurants. There we can also practice windsurfing, snorkel, swim with the boat and angle.

Pafos

The most characteristic for this place are the water animals - very rare green turtles.

That's all for now. I'll continue next time.
